“Eagle in the Sky” is a story about an era of agony and victory and about generations of air fighters who etched a glorious chapter in the annals of air warfare and the Israeli Air Force – with incredible bravery, loyalty and professionalism, giving their hearts and souls and sometimes their lives, for a cause they believed in.
The eagle in the sky is Ran Ronen, one of the most decorated fighter pilots of the Israeli Air Force. In his 27 years of service he flew every fighter plane, participated as a pilot and commander in every war from the Sinai Campaign through the Six Days War to the Yom Kippur War, flew more than 350 combat missions and downed 7 enemy planes. Ronen is a natural fighter pilot, aviator and warrior.
